Mercy beaucoups for your comments. God, is nothing sacred? I only just put it up here (no I didn't pen it, it was done on something called a computer), and already people are trampling all over my exposed brains. Get off my land will you, or you will taste this shotgun's pellets!
Is it humour? That would depend on your taste. there may be some subtle cynicism in there, hidden amongst the not-at-all-copyright-infringing stylee of our country's favourite sons ;)

In response to:Britain, Britain, Britain!

well, mr. Brit.
i liked the way u have penned ur latest writeup.
although, i had a hard time understanding few things in there.
because, we, the erstwhile 'her majesty's' subjects have always found it difficult to understand British subtle sense of humor( or was it humor at all?!... forgive me if i have misread it)

whatever it is, for me Great Britain has always kept me in awe. Well, i do not understand much of contemporary British politics. But what keeps me interested in your country are the Frank Lampards, the mercy siders, the coulthards/Jenson Buttons/Sir Frank Williams, the Mclarens, the great metal bands like Iron Maiden and more recently Cradle of filth, the multi culturism and of course the power of speaking in this great language!

Great Britain for an Indian remains a center of 'Soft' power, so to speak!
